The Friends of Peace & Justice Group was formed in Bulkington
at the Church of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart in January 2008.
Why a
Peace and Justice Group?
We aim to involve the parish in matters concerning Peace and Justice. This
ranges from supporting global concerns, such as climate change and
poverty, to those issues closer to home, viz. refugees, the homeless and
trying to live more responsibly in our consumer society. Our vision is
also to link up eventually with other Christian groups at least once a
year.
Next meeting on Thursday 17th May at 7.00 pm
in the Parish Hall.
